Patrick J. St. Thomas, Jr.

Patrick J. St.Thomas, Jr., 84, of Rome, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 15, 1933 in Rome a son of Patrick J. Sr. and Mary Merola St. Thomas. On November 24, 1955 in San Angelo Texas he married Agnes Gerngross, a blessed marriage of 62 years. Pat proudly served with the US Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He had worked at Chicago Pneumatic in Utica for 39 years. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankee fan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Pat is survived by his beloved family, his wife Agnes; four sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick, III and Jackie St. Thomas of Rome, Michael and Mary St. Thomas of Rome

Carole A. Cavanaugh, 79, of Rome, lost her brave battle against cancer on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home. She was the daughter of Henry and Beatrice Weiler. Carole’s world consisted very much of her three daughters and their families. Carol V. Regan, 81, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Presbyterian Residential Community Nursing Home. She was born on June 24, 1936 in Rome a daughter of Louis and Palma LaPorte Viviani. Carol was a graduate of RFA, class of 1954. She had worked as a secretary at Rome Cable Corp. and later at the Turning Stone Casino until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
