Carole A. Cavanaugh

Carole A. Cavanaugh, 79, of Rome, lost her brave battle against cancer on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home. She was the daughter of Henry and Beatrice Weiler. Carole’s world consisted very much of her three daughters and their families.

Carole is survived by her beloved family, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Crystal Mehl of Rome, Colleen and Joe Siegel of Taberg and Christine “Tina” and Shawn Griffin of NC; her cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa (Tim) Ronchi, Amanda (Alan) VanScooter, Travis (Brienna) Mehl, Margo Siegel, Brad Griffin, Rachael (Ory) Petty; great- grannies, Avery and Abbey Ronchi, Natalie, Wes and Emily VanScooter, Ryker Mehl and a newly expected happy “fe Mehl”; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey (Karl) Matt and Ginger (Arnold) Smith. She was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Weiler Belius and Mary Lou Jenks.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Pat Lieber, our “4th” sister and to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. who are Earth’s Angels.

Carole requested not to have calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
