Carol V. Regan
Carol V. Regan, 81, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Presbyterian Residential Community Nursing Home.
She was born on June 24, 1936 in Rome a daughter of Louis and Palma LaPorte Viviani. Carol was a graduate of RFA, class of 1954.
She had worked as a secretary at Rome Cable Corp. and later at the Turning Stone Casino until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Carol is survived by her beloved family, two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Ann Regan of Utica and Melissa and Brian Garofalo of Rochester; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy Regan of Chicago and Russell and Sarah Regan of Tampa, FL; her cherished grandchildren, Allison Garofalo, Kacie Garofalo and Abby Regan; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Vincent Nardozza of Rome; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Angela Viviani of Rome and Louis and Elaine Viviani of Rome; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 in St, John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the Mass.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carol’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204. Envelopes will be available at the church.
