Patrick J. St. Thomas, Jr.

Patrick J. St.Thomas, Jr., 84, of Rome, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side.

He was born on September 15, 1933 in Rome a son of Patrick J. Sr. and Mary Merola St. Thomas. On November 24, 1955 in San Angelo Texas he married Agnes Gerngross, a blessed marriage of 62 years.

Pat proudly served with the US Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He had worked at Chicago Pneumatic in Utica for 39 years. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankee fan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Pat is survived by his beloved family, his wife Agnes; four sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick, III and Jackie St. Thomas of Rome, Michael and Mary St. Thomas of Rome, Mark and Jeanie St. Thomas of Saratoga and Mathew and Lisa St. Thomas of AZ.; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Ron Stratton of Verona; cherished eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a sister-in-law Patricia St. Thomas of KS. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law Marion and John Falitico and a brother Peter St. Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
