William Hook
September 25, 2022
William “Bill” Hook, 50, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Bill was born in Utica on December 6, 1971. Bill was predeceased by his father Timothy Kirk Hook. He was an avid fisherman and loved to teach his friends how to drop a line in the water. Bill loved watching the Indianapolis Colts and having weekly football nights with his sons and fiancée. Bill loved joking and trying to bring his loved ones joy and laughter “just because”. He also enjoyed camping, boating, and the outdoors. Bill was a master sign technician and took great pride in his Ford signs.
Bill is survived by his loving and devoted fiancée of 14 years Kristine Evans; five wonderful children (affectionately known as the “Brats”) William “Blake” Hook, Richard Elias, Amber Gooding, Tyler Hook, and Shaylynn Hook. Two very important children that also impacted his life were Shaelynn and Josh. He is survived by ten grandchildren Dante, Kameron, Angelina, Jacob, Logan, Jimmy, Lilah, Judah, Elijah, Isabella, and was eagerly awaiting twin grandchildren in December; his chosen parental guide and mentor Nick Konowich of New Hartford.
He was predeceased by his loving maternal grandparents Howard and Florence Crossman. The family would like to extend their great appreciation to the Bottini Funeral Home for their assistance.
A private gathering by invitation only will be at a designated venue.
