Jeanne A. White

   Jeanne A. White, 79, of Rome passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 with her daughters by her side.

   Jeanne was born in Fort Collins, CO on September 7, 1946 to Wallace and Betty Coffey Lonsinger.  She was a graduate of Evergreen High School, CO and attended Western State College in Gunnison, CO.  Jeanne was an administrative assistant for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Griffiss Air Force Base from 1968 until her retirement in 2007.

   On July 19, 1969 Jeanne married Donald H. White in Rome, a blessed union of 46 years until his passing in 2015. Jeanne was a longstanding member of the Business and Professional Women (BPW), VFW Women’s Auxiliary and an assistant Girl Scout Leader.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rome.

   Jeanne is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Tiffany DeFraine and Tammy (Scott) Brement; grandchildren Rebecca DeFraine, Rachael DeFraine, and Christopher Brement.  She is also survived by her brother Robert Lonsinger of Colorado Springs, CO.  Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, parents, and her sister and brother-in-law Barbara Ann and Floyd Maggard.

   The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Rome Health ICU, 2North, and 3^rd floor Rehabilitation Unit for their compassion and care.

   Private services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rome Health Foundation.

   Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
