Tito D. Seoane
Tito D. Seoane, 55, of Rome, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
Tito was born on June 3, 1965 in Rome, New York, the son of Manuel and Mary Santello Seoane. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy class of 1983 and graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for several years with the NY State Office of Children and Family Services. He then went on to work in substance rehabilitation programs. His latest career was with Upstate Cerebral Palsy of Utica as a Senior Employment Specialist.
Tito started his coaching career with Rome youth hockey and Pop Warner football. He then went on to coach RFA football and lacrosse.
Tito is survived by his beloved family, his wife Lynn Vaccaro with whom he was united in marriage to on November 24, 2018; a daughter Tarra Seoane-Melioris of Rome; two sons, Matthew Seoane and Zachary Wright both of Rome; cherished grandchildren; Jonathan Seoane and Joseph Melioris IV; sister Cathleen Seoane LeTray of Rome, with whom he shared a special bond. Also survived by sisters Beverly (Howie) Young of NC and Elaine (Sid) Thompson of NC and a brother Manuel (Cathy) Seoane of NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and the mother of his two children Catherine (Tanner) Archer.
At Tito’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. The family will be honoring Tito’s wishes with a celebration of his life with music and laughter at a later date.
