Terrie Ann Kirk
It comes with great sadness that Terrie Ann Kirk, 51, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2023.
Terrie dedicated her life’s work to helping those with disabilities, and this is where she truly shined. Terrie will be remembered by family and friends for her big heart and strong personality. This combination is what made her unique. Family and friends always knew that if you needed her, you could rest assured that Terrie would be by your side. She had a great sense of humor and didn’t’ take life too seriously. You could hear her laugh a mile away! She loved traveling, music, being with family, friends, and her cat Samantha.
She passed peacefully, but not without a strong fight. She was loved by many, will be forever missed and the memories will last forever.
Terrie is survived by her father Raymond A. Kirk of Vernon, her mother JoAnn S. Kirk of Evans Mills, sister and brother-in-law Angela M. and Jimmy VanDyke of Brewerton, brother Joe Kirk of Raleigh NC, Uncle Thomas and Natalie Gleba of Lee Center, Uncle Rick and Sheri Gleba of Bloomington CA; nieces and nephews Claire and Jeremy Wishoff, Sierra and Justin Kirk, and great-nieces and nephew Elizabeth and Bella Haney and Rhett Wishoff.
Services will be forthcoming at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
