Sandra A. Lamascolo

Sandra (Balzano) Lamascolo, 75, of Rome, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Rome Memorial Hospital peacefully with her family by her side. 

  Sandy was born November 16, 1950 in Rome, daughter of Frank and Sarah Ciabotti Balzano. She graduated from Rome Free Academy, Class of 1968.  Sandy worked for the Rome DDSO for 37 years. She was an avid animal lover and donated to multiple organizations.

    Sandy is survived by her son Nemo Lamascolo and wife Claudia Colenzo Lamascolo of Florida; daughter Tonya Beach and husband Craig Beach; grandson Craig Anthony Beach and wife Melissa Hoffman Beach; a sister Theresa LeHigh of Nebraska, and a sister-in-law Mary Ellen Balzano. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Rocco Balzano.

  In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held in the spring.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street, Rome.
