Peter Corigliano IV was called to be with God with his parents by his side on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 9 years old.

Peter was born on February 3, 2016, in Syracuse, to his loving parents, Peter and Ashley Corigliano who adored him. Peter was an amazing boy who touched the lives of so many people. He had the ability to meet a new person and instantly have them love him. Peter shared a unique bond with his parents as it was always just the three of them. He loved playing with his Legos, taking apart and then subsequently fixing things, going to Grandpa and G-Ma’s camp, skiing, swimming, taking family vacations, light saber fighting, playing doctor with his stuffed animals, helping Mom cook, bird watching, having weekly movie nights and playing in the snow for hours.

Peter was charismatic, had a contagious smile, and a heart of gold. He had impeccable comedic timing and made everyone laugh. He often stated that he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up. He was also an honorary member of the Woods Valley Jr. Ski Patrol and loved chatting it up in the patrol room.

Peter is survived by his parents Peter and Ashley Corigliano, his grandparents Peter and Carlene Corigliano, Joe Corigliano, and Julie Corr. His Aunts, Amber (Trevor) Francis, Kelly (Ethan) Yeh, his cousins Jackson Francis, Everett, Brennan, and Adler Yeh. His honorary Aunts and Uncles, Blair and Chris Connolly, Mindy Morris, Erin Pinoargotte, Keith and Christie Ouderkirk, Josh and Kelly Smith, Jake Pratt, Dan Baldgya, Ben and Meghan Pokines and his best friend Norah Pokines.

Peter’s Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 East Dominick Street. Visitation will be held at the Church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., prior to the service. The Family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. George Alfieris, Dr. Dawn Sweeney, Dr. Atallah, Gina Cable, the many nurses whose lives he touched.

Contributions in Peter’s memory can be made to the Peter Corigliano IV Memorial Fund, c/o The Community Foundation, 2608 Genesee Street, Utica, NY 13502 or go to www.foundationhoc.org/peter .  Donation envelopes will also be available at the service.
