Perry T. Gentile
Perry T. Gentile, 61, of Rome, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 due to medical complications, with his family by his side.
Perry was the son of the late Paul Gentile and Margaret Perry Gentile. He was a butcher by trade. Perry was best known for his passion for playing the guitar. Those who knew him knew his love of music. He was a very generous and giving person who always put others happiness before his own.
Perry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Michelle (DeSantis) Gentile; and his most prized possession, his son Perry Gentile II, who was his life. He is also survived by his sisters Joan Gentile and Michele Gentile, both of whom he adored; several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Perry was predeceased by his identical twin Paul; his sister Paulette White; and his best canine friend and companion, Mikey Paul.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Rome Hospital for their outstanding efforts and compassion during this difficult time. They were truly heroes...thank you and God Bless.
At the request of the family, funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
