Pasquale Casalenuovo III

December 18, 2021

Pasquale (Buddy) Casalenuovo III, 79, of Mohave Valley, AZ, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his home with his companion Angela Nashton by his side.

He was born in Rome on November 24, 1942, the son of the late Catherine (Pettinelli) Coia and Pasquale Casalenuovo II. He attended Rome schools and served in the United States Army. Shortly after completing his tour in the Army, Buddy moved to California and settled there for many years. During his time in California, Buddy worked as a manager at the Starting Gate Restaurant in Los Alamitos, CA for many years. Buddy was a true “Traveling Man”, living in many places like Arizona, Washington, Montana, and Nevada. He always felt his true home was Rome in his heart. Buddy was the guy that walked into any room and made sure he introduced himself to everyone. He did not care who you were or where you were from, you became his friend for life, and he would do anything for family and friends. And if there was Karaoke, it was a guaranteed night full of singing and laughter.

Buddy is survived by his daughter Laura (Steven) Feyh of Spokane, WA; granddaughter McKenna Feyh of Spokane; Sisters Mary Ann Puglio and Patricia Casalenuovo of Rome; brothers Lawrence and Susan (Ferlo) Casalenuovo of Rome, and James and Shelley (Hinkle) Coia of Huntington Beach, CA; brother-in-law Frederick Held of Charlottesville, VA, as well as many nieces, nephews, and several close relatives from his extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, step-father James Coia, step-mother Mary Casalenuovo, sister Samuela Sue Held, and brother-in-law Gerald Puglio.

Pasquale’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Adele (Coccia) and Paul Wilde for opening their home and helping with everything during the time Pasquale was in the hospitals and traveling back and forth. There will be no calling hours or services.
