Maryrose Salerno
On Friday, March 12, 2021, Maryrose Salerno, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 99.
Maryrose was born on December 8, 1921 in Dubois, PA to Sandy and Anna Giordani. She married Patrick James Salerno and raised two sons, Richard and Patrick.
She was remembered for her sense of style, sharp with and extraordinary cooking. Family favorite dishes included her broccoli macaroni, meatballs and sauce, greens and beans, and pizza frittes.
Maryrose was preceded in death by her father Sandy, her mother Anna, her husband Patrick and her son Richard. She is survived by her son Patrick, her five grandchildren, Lilli, Lauren, Lindsey, Patrick and Jenna and her two great-grandchildren, Arden and Truitt.
Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
