Mary Salamey Felice

Mary Salamey Felice, 90 of Rome passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 surrounded by love. Mary was born on February 13, 1936 in Utica NY to the late Toufik and Madeline Harb Salamey. She was a graduate of Proctor High School.
On May 30, 1959, Mary was united in marriage to Anthony R. Felice in Rome NY. Together, they built a life centered around family, hard work, and their businesses. Mary and Anthony worked side by side in their businesses, Style Home Furnishings in downtown Rome, and Felice Moving and Storage. Following Anthony’s sudden passing in March of 1981, Mary carried on the family moving business alongside her son, Philip. With determination, strength, and tremendous work ethic, she continued running the business until her retirement in 2016. She was a proud businesswoman and a wonderful example of perseverance for her family.
Mary will be remembered for her quick wit, strength, devotion to her family, hard working spirit, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She enjoyed sewing, golfing, bowling, and traveling. Mary was always known for looking her best and her fashion sense. She created a lifetime of memories and her presence will be deeply missed. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her as Sito. Mary's greatest legacy will always be her family. She is survived by her son, Philip (Lori) Felice; her daughter Toni (John) Vaccaro; and her grandchildren, Alex (Hannah) Felice; Lauren (Aaron) Agosto; and Paul (Deanna) Vaccaro. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughters, Rosemary and Rylie Vaccaro, who were her little sunshines. Mary is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Rose Parisi and Sheila (Jim) Brill, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony; her parents; her brother Naif Salamey; her sisters Amelia Zogby and Dolores Sparacine; and her sisters-in-law Nancie Felice Methvin, Ellen Felice Mattacola, Judy Felice Pewter, and Phyliss Felice Pace, along with other dear family members and friends.
