Laura Louise Carletta
Laura Louise Carletta, 59, of Conway, SC and formerly of Rome passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 in SC.
She was born on November 5, 1961 a daughter of Angelo and Louise Dianna Carletta. Her father Angelo passed away on November 8, 2017. She was a graduate of Westmoreland Central School in 1980.
Laura is survived by her beloved family, Her mother Louise; her companion and best friend Ken of Cockrell of SC.; a sister Desiree (Jeff) Carletta; a brother Angelo (Tania) Carletta of Rome; a nephew Angelo J. Carletta of Florida; an aunt Barbara Gaetano of Rome; an uncle Angelo Gaetano of Sylvan Beach; and several cousins.
Laura loved the beach and wherever she lived she made sure it was near “the beach”. She loved all animals and listening to old Rock and Roll music. Laura enjoyed her career as a Nail Technician when living in Florida.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant; where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Masks and distancing must be adhered to.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Laura’s memory to the Human Society of Rome, P.O. Box 4572, Rome, NY 13440. Envelopes will be available at the church.
