Julie Haywood, 55, of Rome, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Julie was born on July 12, 1970, the daughter of John and Betty Haywood. Raised in Blossvale, Julie graduated from Camden High School. She worked as a waitress for DeSalvo’s and Denny’s, an occupation that she enjoyed. Julie loved being a mom and “Gigi”.
Julie is survived by and will be sorely missed by her daughter Katelynn Haywood and fiancé Austin Sullivan, and her grandson Malakai Sullivan. She is also survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Jessica Haywood Velapoldi, Elizabeth Haywood-Zill, and Jay Zill. Julie was predeceased by her parents, her best friend Elaine Cowell, and the father of her daughter, Frank Lilley.
Services will be private and there will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street.
