Juanita L. Kunkle
Juanita L.(Frampton) Kunkle, 92, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Grand Nursing Home.
She was born in Diamondville PA to Mildred and Franklin Frampton Sr. She was united in marriage on April 5, 1951 to James W. Kunkle; a blessed union of 53 years until his passing on April 13, 2004. Juanita spent many years in Niagara Falls and the Utica area working as a baker in several donut shops, including two family-owned stores. Her hobbies included cross-stitch, reading, and watching NASCAR.
Juanita is survived by her sons Gary and Patricia of Rome, Michael and Patricia of Orange Park FL; her daughters Marsha and Jeffrey Rutledge of Leavenworth KS and Linda Wantland of Lawrence KS; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, her son James G. Kunkle, a sister Frances, and brother Franklin Jr.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the care that Juanita received from Wing 1 and the Rehabilitation staff at the Grand.
At the request of the family, there will be no services and no calling hours. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
