On Thursday, January 22, 2026 John Marcello, 76, was embraced by our Savior, the Lord, and all those who went before him. Those of us left behind will forever miss him.
He leaves behind his daughter, Tina Yuckel and Randy Yuckel; his grandchildren Kyle Yuckel and Robin Yuckel (Logan Gagne); his brothers Ernest “Ernie” Marcello (Molly Castro), and David and Donna Marcello; many nieces and nephews, and so many great friends.
If you would like to honor John, please consider giving a donation, in memory of him, to the incredible people, especially those on B wing who took such amazing care of him, at Sunset Nursing Home at 232 Academy St., Boonville, NY 13309.
A celebration of life will be held at the Franklin Hotel at 301 S. James Street, Rome on Saturday January 24, 2026 from 12-4pm.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street.
