Joanne Comstock
Joanne Comstock, 72, of Westmoreland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was born on September 18, 1948 in Cuba, NY a daughter of the late Lloyd and Anita Nunamaker. She was a graduate of Cuba, NY High School.
Joann was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, stepmother and friend to many. She enjoyed reading, gardening and music. She loved being amongst mother nature. Joann was passionate about animals and her pets. She worked (retired) as a teacher’s aide at the local Boces. She enjoyed taking care of special needs children and was dedicated to her work. She also volunteered and helped those in need in any way she could. Joann enjoyed life fully on her terms, not based on society standards.
Immediate beloved family survived by Joann are her husband James; three children, Jared (Cristy) Dean, Judd (Michele) Dean and Jill Martinellli; cherished grandchildren, Daniel and Alexander Martinelli; Stepchildren, Lee (Rebecca) Comstock, Necole Comstock, Sarah (Jerry) Hart, AngieComstock, Joshue Comstock;; a sister Jean Loiacono, a brother Russel Nunamaker and many nieces and nephews.
Private, family only, services will be held.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
