Jennie M. Burnett

    Jennie M. Burnett, 39, of Blossvale, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the Wynn Hospital, Utica, with her Mom and loving family at her side, following a brief illness.

   She was born on May 30, 1986, in Rome, the daughter of Terry Dote Burnett and the late John J. Burnett, Sr., and was educated in Rome schools.

   Jennie is survived by her Mom; her daughter, Aundra Burnett of Rome; her maternal grandmother who helped raise her, Esther Dote Larrabee; her sister, Michelle Burnett of Morrisville; her brothers and sisters-in-laws, John J. and Jessica Burnett, Jr. of Munnsville, and Christopher and Tanya Burnett of Rome; her aunts and uncles, Joe and Jennifer Dote, Richard Dote, and Frederick Dote, all of Blossvale, Kim and Steve Breen of Rome, and Carol Martin of Saratoga Springs, uncle Lee Martin of TN; nephews and nieces John Burnett III, Kylie Burnett, Mackenzie Burnett, Kayssa Burnett, Victoria Burnett, Brandon Chambers Jr., Isabell Burnett; great-niece Gracelyn Burnett, and great-nephew Remington Burnett.

   At Jennie’s request, all funeral services and burial will be held privately. There will be no public services. Jennie’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bottini Funeral Home.
