Jaqueline Ruzanski
Jacqueline Ruzanski, 60, of Rome and NC, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Durham, NC.
Jacqueline was born in Rome on May 16, 1962, a daughter of the late Joseph Ray and Michelina Bartolotti Ray. Jackie attended Rome schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1980. On May 1, 1990, she married James Ruzanski. Jackie was employed at El Chico’s Restaurant, Rome and Bella Trio Salon and Spa of Durham, North Carolina where she established close ties with many special people that became good friends. She was an avid reader and a passionate collector of crystals and gemstones. She loved walking on the beach at Emerald Isle, NC collecting shells. Jackie took great pride in choosing the perfect gifts to all she loved. Above all else, Jackie cherished spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Jacqueline is survived by her sisters, Deborah and Mark Raulli of Rome, and Cynthia Ray and Loren Miller of Raleigh NC; nieces and nephews Tracey and Vincent Gratch, Jason Longo, Adam Raulli, Adrienne and John Brewer, and Jordan and Mary Beth Guaspari; great-nieces and nephews Luke, Natalie, Matthew, Jacob, Michelina, Liliana, John, Jackson, and Charley. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Michelina Ray and her nephew, Joseph Froio.
Prayer service will be held 11am Saturday, November 19, 2022 at St. John’s Cemetery Chapel, led by Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio of St. John the Baptist Church. Visitation 10-11am prior to the Prayer Service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
