Georgeanna M. Corigliano

Georgeanna M. Corigliano (Beckwith), 85, passed away Sunday July 9th, 2023 in Rome Memorial Hospital with all of her children by her side. She was born August 26th, 1937 in Rome, NY. The daughter of Jesse “Hoop” Beckwith and Alice (Treen) Beckwith/Barnes.

She attended Rome schools. Georgeanna was united in marriage to Anthony A. Corigliano on November 29th,1955 at St. John’s the Baptist Church. She worked at NCO club & Bethany House (head of housekeeping,) before retiring.

Georgeanna, loved her family, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was fan of “scratchies”, spending time at the casino & pulling “pull tabs.” There was never a Lifetime movie she didn’t watch, and she was a fan of game shows. She certainly would never turn down a banana split if one showed up at her door.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony Dec. 4th, 1999. Surviving are her 4 daughters and sons-in-law Alice Page (Bob,) Antoinette Trela (Pete,) Amy Squire (Ed) & Joyel Hondro (Chris.) She is also survived by her 5 sons and 4 daughters-in-law Anthony Corigliano Jr. (Judy,) James Corigliano (Jodie,) Joseph Corigliano, Jeff Corigliano (Marybeth) & Audie Corigliano (Heather.) Survived by siblings Ronald Beckwith (Priscilla,) five sisters, Shirley Dudley, Betty Lou Cook, Diana Hewitt, Bonnie Sue Gatto (Frank,) and Debbie Young; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Beckwith and Jeanne Beckwith. Georgeanna was also predeceased by her siblings Jean DeAngelo, Jesse Beckwith, Richard Beckwith, Charles and Linda Beckwith, Sally and Lawrence Perry and Carol Clark. Also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her grandson Bobby Page III.

We would like to thank the staff of Bethany Gardens for their care and treatment of Mom during her stay there. Special thanks to Silva, Gia, Sierra, Patrick, Kyle, Sandy, Janine, Patricia & Shannon. We always felt comfortable leaving Mom in your care. Thank you for always treating her like she was a part of “your” family, and giving us one more week with our “fire cracker.”
