Carmella Corigliano
Carmella Corigliano, 92, a lifelong resident of Rome, passed away on December 17, 2021.
She was born on April 27, 1929 to Mary Siccarenzo and Joseph Gizzo. On August 2, 1947 in St. John the Baptist Church she married Thomas Corigliano, a blessed union for 71 years.
She was a hairdresser and owner of Lovely Wave Beauty Salon retiring in 1981. An avid bocce player, she also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends and family.
Carmella was a mother to the late Gennaro Corigliano who was the light of her life. She had a special place in her heart for her nieces, the late Beatrice Pauline Hawse, Kelly Usherwood, Kristen Koziol and Cassandra Koziol.
Funeral services under the direction of the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. were private. There were no calling hours. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery.
