Annette Rozakis

   Annette Rozakis, 85, of Rome passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026 with her family by her side.   Annette was born on April 23, 1941 in Utica to the late Salvatore and Theresa Marconi. She was a graduate of Proctor High School.  In 1970, Annette was united in marriage to Leon Rozakis, a blessed union of 15 years until his passing in 1985.

   She was employed as a loan officer with Rome Federal Credit Union until her retirement.  Annette enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church.

   Annette is survived by her children Kelly (Ray) Hickey, Melissa (Tim) Taylor, and David (Anne) Iacovissi; her grandchildren Jillian Iacovissi, Alana Iacovissi, and Nicholas Acee.  She is also survived by her sisters Theresa Nassar, Connie Toukatly and Marie Grifasi; and sister-in-law Carol Marconi.  Annette was predeceased by her husband, her brothers James Marconi and Sam Marconi; brothers-in-law Al Nassar, Frank Toukatly, and James Grifasi; and her sister-in-law Catherine Marconi.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 200 N. James St., Rome at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2026. There will be no calling hours.

      Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street, Rome.
