  Angeline "Ange" Guglielmo, 89, of Rome passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in her home. She was born on October 24,1936 in Rome, the daughter of Giuseppe and Concetta Riolo. On November 26, 1955, she married Leonard (Bob) Guglielmo at St. John the Baptist Church and is now reunited with Bob who predeceased in 2001.
  Ange was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and received an Associates Degree in Medical Records from MVCC. Prior to her retirement in 2005, she was employed with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County where she was the first recipient of the Cornell Cooperative NYS 4-H Agents support staff award. Ange’s faith guided her throughout her life and shined through in the way she cared deeply for others. She was proud of her Italian heritage and enjoyed teaching family and friends her traditions. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church where she was an Eucharistic Minister, a Faith Formation instructor and a member of the Marian Guild. Ange played Bocce at the Toccolana Club for many years and loved being with her many friends. She was fond of playing cards with Rita, Terry, and Joyce.
  Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law Roxanne Sanders of Michigan, Carleen Hughes of Florida, Kristie and Christopher Jewett of Florida; and two sons and a daughter-in-law Robert Guglielmo of NY, and Mark and Tracy Guglielmo of Michigan; her much loved grandchildren Trinell and Derek Guglielmo of Nevada, Courtney Van de Putte of Michigan, Jordan Hughes and Brianna Hughes of Florida, Hanna Guglielmo of NY, Emily, Jack, Julia and Jessie Weinert of NY; two great-grandchildren Vincent proudly serving in the US Navy, and Sophia residing in Michigan.
  Ange is also survived by her cherished sister Ann Peconi, two brothers Orlando Riolo, John Riolo, and sisters-in-law Pat Riolo and Rita Moore; much loved nieces and nephews, especially niece Sharon Sanford who was always there for our mother with her love and compassion.
  Ange was predeceased by four sisters and their husbands Nettie and Joseph Faro, Isabelle and Scotty Zarrelli, Josephine and Ralph Squadrito, Mary and Vito Saprace; eight brothers and sisters-in-law Vincent and Mary, Nicholas and Betty, Frank and Josephine, Lawrence and Alice, Fred and Nettie, William and Pamela, Joseph and Armando.
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, June 15, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St., with Fr. Sean O’Brien as celebrant. Family will receive family and friends from 10am to 11am prior to the mass. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Angeline to the Marian Guild at Sacred Heart Parish, 1807 Bedford St., Rome.
