Joseph C. Fazio, Jr.

Joseph C. Fazio, Jr., 81, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospital.

He was born on September 8, 1939 in Rome the son of Joseph C. and Anne Stosal Fazio, Sr. On October 12, 1962, in Rome, he married Sheila K. McLaren, a blessed union of 57 years.

He attended schools in Rome. He proudly served as a member of the US Marines Corp. Joe was an exterminator at GAFB and the owner of Rome Pest Control Services. He enjoyed bowling and fishing and was a fanatic for the NY Yankees and also was a foodie. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Joe is survived by his beloved family, his wife Sheila; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy A. (Sam, Jr.) Fragapane of FL.; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph 3rd (Jennifer) Fazio of Rome; cherished grandchildren, Dr. Lauren M. Fragapane, Deidre L. Fragapane and Sam E. Fragapane 3rd. all of FL., Jessica D. Fazio (fiancée Vinny Servadio), Joseph C. Fazio IV and Jack F. Fazio all of Rome; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Fazio of Rome, Ronald (Linda) Fazio of Rome and Walter Kapinos of Fl.. He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Jack) Walsh.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
