Dorothy A. Marks

Dorothy A. Marks, 79, of Rome, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 in the Rome Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 18, 1940 in Rome the daughter of John and Melinda Manchester Sturtevant.

She enjoyed shopping, playing games and especially riding on a motorcycle.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter Crista (Terry) Jacobson of WI.; a grandson Dakota Jacobson and a very dear friend and domestic partner for 50 years, , Dennis Hayes of Sylvan Beach,; several nieces and nephews especially one special nephew and his wife who took care of her; sisters, Kaaren Randino of Rome and Kathy LaLonde of CT.; brothers, Keith (Laurie) Sturtevant and Kevin (Peggy) Sturtevant of NC. She was predeceased by her sisters, Gladys Prairie, Brenda Salmon, Ramona Sturtevant and Janice Sturtevant; brothers, Donald Sturtevant and Wayne Sturtevant.

Funeral services were private as per Dorothy’s request.

Funeral services were entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
