Frances M. Trotz

Frances M. Trotz, 81, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was born on August 16, 1937 in Rome the daughter of Attilio and Theresa Notarianni Santoro.

On August 22, 1964 in St. John the Baptist Church she married Joseph E. Trotz who passed away on January 11, 2014. She was a graduate of RFA. She had worked as a secretary at GAFB. She and her husband owned and operated Trotz Food Market for many years until their retirement.

Frances is survived by her beloved family, her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and George Rothfritz of Lee Center; cherished grandchildren, Steven Rothfritz and Amanda Rothfritz. She was predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Santoro and a brother Mario Santoro.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
