Patricia M. Daniello


Patricia M. Daniello, 81, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

She was born on November 21, 1937 in Rome the daughter of John and Marjorie Sawyer Major. On July 16, 1959 in St. John the Baptist Church she married Nick Daniello,Jr. who passed away on November 18, 2007. She was a graduate of RFA. Patricia had worked as a clerk typist for the Rome City School District retiring in 2003.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the Jervis Library Association. Her favorite saying was “Be Nice”.

Patricia is survived by her beloved family, daughters Diann Daniello, Beth (Nick) Doria and Julie (Bill) Howard; a son Mark (Debbie) Daniello; cherished grandchildren, Paul, Brandon, Rachael and Patricia Wakefield, Gina (Brian) Doria-McMillan and Vito Doria, William and Raymond Howard, Nick, Brianna and Vincent Daniello; a great-grandson Jarrod Wakefield and a great-granddaughter Scarlett Howard; a sister Ann Jock; a brother Richard Major; many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11:00 at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Interment will be in Holland Patent Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours as per her wishes.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to the Jervis Library Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
