Louise Vasquez Tomassi

Louise Vasquez Tomassi, 86, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019. She was a life long Roman.

Louise graduated in 1950, one of the top students in her class. After graduation she went to Italy to marry the love of her life, Luciano Mario Tomassi on July 20, 1950.

She worked for the Department of the Air Force as an accountant and stock control clerk for 29 years. She also worked part time for the Bethany House and later full time for 16 1/2years. She worked for DDSO as a caretaker for 17 years where she retired.

Louise was very charitable, generous and a faithful Catholic. She traveled the world and enjoyed the fruits of life and the bounty of nature. Louise will be missed very much by all.

Louise’s funeral services were held at the convenience of the family on Thursday, April 11th, at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery.

There were no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
