Ronald Dutcher

Ronald Dutcher 49, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Thursday March 21, 2019, with his special nephew Donald Dutcher Jr., by his side.

Ron was born on January 31, 1970 in Rome NY. He was the son of Donald and Rita Ranger Dutcher. He attended Rome Schools. Ron was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. On April 20, 1996 he married Deborah Moore. She passed away on March 31, 2012.

His life’s enjoyment was cooking, Ron was a cook at DiCastro’s Brick Oven in Rome

Ron is survived by his beloved family: his mother Rita, daughters Heather Saul, New Hartford, step-daughter Elizabeth Herrera, Calif., five sisters and brother-in-laws, Shirley (William) Seymour, Clinton, Regina Knopic, SC, Rebecca “Becki” (Garold) Smith, of Rome, Margaret (Jim) Grago, NC., Theresa (Aaron) Luczynski, NC., two brothers, Donald Dutcher, NC., and Scott Magnanti of Rome, and several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his wife Deborah

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday March 28, 2019, from 5:30 – 7:30 followed by a funeral service at 7:30 with Fr. Paul Angelicchio officiating. Burial service will be held at the convenience of the family
