Michelle Daniello Crippen

Michelle Daniello Crippen, 56, of Rome, NY, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 in Syracuse NY, with her loving family by her side.

Michelle was born December 1, 1962 in Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of Donna Mummert and Francis “Fran” Daniello. She attended Rome Schools and was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Michelle proudly served her country with the US Air Force from 1981 to 1996.

She worked in Aerospace medicine, retiring as a 2nd Lieutenant from Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

She totally enjoyed working as a volunteer with various organizations. Michelle was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Michelle is survived by her beloved family; father,Francis “Fran” Daniello. a daughter, Alyssa Crippen; two sons, Jeffery Crippen, Joseph “Dan” Frank all of Rome, NY; a sister, Jennifer (Joseph) Fazio of Rome, NY; a brother, William “Billy” Enslin of Rome, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and her two brothers, Dale and Michael Enslin.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, from 4pm to 6pm. Burial will be held in the spring.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
