George Giardino

George Giardino, 78 of Rome, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in New Hartford, NY.

George was born on May 29, 1940 in Rome, NY, son of Carl and Elvira Albanese Giardino. He attended Rome Schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy. He also attended Utica College, Niagara University, and graduated from Tusculum University and received his Masters Degree from East Tennessee State University.

George enjoyed music, becoming an accomplished piano player.

He was a member of St John the Baptist Church.

He is survived by several cousins from both the Giardino and Albanese families.

The family has requested no calling hours, a burial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
