Alexander Giovonni James Pethel

Alexander Giovonni James Pethel passed away at home on Sunday April 29, 2018.

He was born in St. Luke’s Hospital on April 13, 2018, the infant son of James A. and Bianca K. Berg Pethel.

He is survived by his beloved family, his parents, James and Bianca; three brothers, James Pethel, Andrew Sutton and Julian Sutton; grandparents, Patricia Pethel and Gary Pugh; great grandparents, Rocco and Delores Nigro, Janie Saunders and Patricia Mangrum; two aunts, Jill Martingano and Brittany Pethel; an uncle, Matthew Martingano; a great aunt, Nancy Nigro and a great uncle Rocco Nigro; cousins, John Rukavena, Katherine Saraceno, Marie Nigro, Hanna Martingano, Amy Berg and Jerry Berg.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Janet and James Berg and Winston Saunders.

Funeral services were private.

A memorial Mass of Angels was celebrated on Thursday morning at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery.

Contributions in Alexander’s memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund.

Arrangements had been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
