Seth A. Huntley

Seth A. Huntley, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 after a long illness.

Seth was born on April 8, 1945 in Glenridge, NJ. He moved to Rome in the early 60’s when his father opened a Volkswagen dealership on Turin Road.

He attended Parsons College in Iowa. He served in the US Marines from 1967-1968.

Seth was well known as a mechanical contractor in Rome. He started out cleaning chimneys then expanded into fireplaces, wood stoves, heating systems and generators. Most recently his business focused on gas line work.

He was predeceased by his parents Seth and Elizabeth Huntley and his brother Stephen Huntley.

Seth is survived by his daughter, Shannon Huntley of Lake Wylie, SC; his ex-wife Linda Huntley of Lake Wylie, SC; two sisters, Sandra Huntley of Vero Beach, FL. and Suzanne Huntley of Waxhaw, NC.; two nephews David and Tyler and two nieces Justine and Emma.

A Celebration of his Life will be held in the spring.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 Embargo St.
