Norman J. Snyder

Norman J. Snyder, 84, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

He was born in Buffalo, NY the son of Norman and Dorothy Roehauer Snyder. On January 27, 1962 he married Roberta “Robin” Walker. He proudly served with the US Air Force from 1949 to 1953.

He worked, until his retirement, as an engineer with many airlines starting with Mohawk Airlines and retiring in 1993 with US Air. Norm enjoyed flying, the arts and music. He was a member of the QB’s, a pilots group and Civil Air Patrol. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Clinton.

Norm is survived by his beloved family, his wife of 55 years, Robin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Kenneth Dining of Clinton and Lee and Jeff Binder of SC; two sons, Michael Snyder of Clinton and Robert Snyder of Utica; cherished grandchildren, Kayleigh Bisson, Brian Bisson, Krista Gerling and Ryan Gerling.

Funeral services under the direction of the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. will be private. There will be no calling hours.
