Philomena (Fiaschetti) Schraft

Philomena Schraft, age 87, went to her Lord up in Heaven on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was born in Rome, New York on April 1, 1930 to Joseph and Rose Polce Macri.

She was educated in Rome schools. Philomena worked various part-time jobs until marrying Mr. John Fiaschetti on August 27, 1949.

Philomena is survived by her children, John and Pat Fiaschetti, Mike Fiaschetti, Veronica and Jack Capponi, Kathleen and Marty Gomez, Frank and Sarah Fiaschetti; grandchildren John Fiaschetti, Tracy and Frank George, Tricia and Jason Fiaschetti-Gustavson, Tara A. Capponi, Jack A. Capponi, Courtney and Cat Davis-Gomez, Lisa and Nick Rotundo, Mary Fiaschetti, Carly and Justin Bonaventura; great-grandchildren Dominique and Krista Griggs, Frankie, Olivia and Ashley George, Gabriel and Elijah Bonaventura’ special niece Joanneand Bill Civiok, several nephews and nieces; and brothers-in-law Mike and Gloria Fiaschetti and Gregory and Lucy Fiaschetti. She was predeceased by John Fiaschetti, William Schraft; a step-daughter Lori Schraft; brothers Gregory Procopio (and wife), Joseph Macri (and wife), Fred Macri; beloved sister Mary Giordano; nephews Gregory Macri and David Daiuto; and nieces Rose Macri and Eleanor Kellogg and her beloved daughter Savanah.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 2, 2017 in St. John the Baptist Church with Rev. Abraham Esper officiating followed by a burial ceremony in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Bottini Funeral Home.
