Francine J. VanCourt Quackenbush

Francine J. VanCourt Quackenbush, 63, of Rome, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on July 2 1954 in Rome the daughter of Francis and Domenica Colasanti VanCourt. She was a graduate of RFA, class of 1971. She had worked for many years at Bucky & Georgette’s Deli Store and Rocco G’s Limousine Service.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and cooking for family and friends.

Francine is survived by her beloved family, her mother Domenica; daughters Amy Quackenbush and Ryan Leffingwell of Boonville and Deanna and Joshua Eychner of Rome; a son, Joseph Quackenbush of Rome; grandchildren, Shea, Dallas, Ryan, Casey and Tabitha; a sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Vince Ebersole of PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Carol VanCourt of Rome and a long time loving companion Ken Schmoke. She was predeceased by a sister Janet VanCourt.

Funeral services will be private for the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
