Joseph Thomas Aquino

Joseph Thomas Aquino, 67, of Rome passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness.

He was born on November 22, 1949 in Rome the son of Joseph and Evelyn Tritsch Aquino. He was married in Rome on July 24, 1971 to Veta DeCarolis, a blessed union of 46 years. He graduated from RFA. He worked as a foreman at Rome Cable for 18 years and then at the Turning Stone Casino for 18 years , the last 8 years in the MIS Department at the casino.

Joseph enjoyed building computers, cookouts and spending time with his grandchildren. He also had interests in gardening.

Joseph is survived by his beloved family, his loving wife Veta; his daughter and son-in-law, Tabatha and Timothy Armstrong; a son Joseph Aquino and his girlfriend Maxine Taraska; cherished grandchildren, Christian, Karli Rose, Layla and Everette Armstrong; Antonio and Braylee Aquino and Sara Sorrell all of Rome. He was predeceased by his parents and a son Gicamino Aquino.

We’ll always remember you Dad because they’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you.

Funeral services will be private. There will be a Celebration of his Life at a latter date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
