Edna Pinti Scott

Edna Pinti Scott, 97, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2017 in St. Luke’s Nursing Home.

She was born on June 14, 1919 in Rome a twin daughter of Eustachio and Mary Barone Pinti. On October 2, 1976 she married Ellsworth Scott who passed away on December 6, 2002.

She was a graduate of RFA, class of 1937. She had worked at Montgomery Ward Store, Philco Co. at GAFB and last at Nunn’s Hospital Supply.

Edna is survived by her nieces, Margaret Ann and Nicholas Keblish of Holland Patent, Mary Jo Spina of Rome, Pamela Pinti and Linda Pinti. She was predeceased by her twin sister and brother-in-law; Antonetta and Joseph Spina and a brother and sister-in-law ; Hugo and Roberta Pinti.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Gerald Scott and family for making it possible for her to remain in her home as long as she did and to the entire staff of Barton East, St. Luke’s Home for their wonderful and compassionate care. They are special people.

A private service will be held at St. John’s Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
