Giselda A. Biondi Rossi

Giselda A. Biondi Rossi, 86, of Rome, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Rome Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Rome on June 13, 1930 the daughter of Edgardo and Ausilia Marino Biondi. On September 3, 1951 in St. John the Baptist Church she married Anthony Rossi, Sr who passed away on August 12, 2011.

Giselda is survived by her beloved family, a daughter Marie Lynn Rossi of Rome; a son, Andre Rossi of Rochester; cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Carla, Keith, Katelyn, Joshua, Alexis, Andre and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Addison, Lila, Logan and Adley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edgardo and Rosetta Biondi of FL and Louis and Faith Biondi of IN; a sister Louise DiFondi of Rome and a daughter-in-law, Joanne Rossi of CA.. She was predeceased by a son Anthony Rossi, Jr and a brother-in-law Nicholas DiFondi.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Rome Memorial Hospital on 2E, 2N and ICU and her friends at The Terrace at Woodland for their care and compassion on the behalf of Giselda.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11:00 in St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery,

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
