Daniel Joseph Scarafile, Sr.

Daniel Joseph Scarafile Sr., 31, of Blossvale, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

He was born on May 1, 1985 in Utica, the son of Daniel Scarafile and Deborah Commisso. He graduated from Westmoreland School and attended MVCC. On May 23, 2008, in Rome, he married Alicia Mecca.

He was a valet attendant at The Lodge at Turning Stone Casino for 10 years. He enjoyed dirt bikes, motorcycles, camping and working on engines. He took great pride in his cooking for his family.

He was a very hard worker who took much pride in all he did. He will be greatly missed for the rest of our lives.

Daniel is survived by his family, his parents Daniel and Deborah; beloved wife Alicia; cherished children, step-daughter Lauresa Ladson; sons, Daniel J. Scarafile, Jr. and step-son Xavier Mecca; two brothers, Nick Scarafile and Mike Scarafile and a half-sister Rheanna Brement.

Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 with the Rev. Joseph Sestito officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
