Mary C. DiDone

Mary C. DiDone, 96, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Bethany Gardens with her loving son by her side.

She was born on November 11, 1919 in Rome the daughter of Alex and step-mother Grace LaManna Scicchitano. On October 12, 1940 in St. John the Baptist Church she married John DiDone who passed away on December 24, 2013.

Mary attended Rome Schools. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking for her family.

Mary is survived by her beloved family, a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Richard Keller of Caraopolis, PA; a son, with whom she lived, Donald DiDone of Rome; cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Richard S. and Annette Keller, Pamela and Robert Gray and Jennifer Keller, five great grandchildren and one great-great grand-daughter. She was predeceased by a grandson Gary Keller; her mother, Mary Tedesco; a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Walter Zielinski; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregory and Mafalda Scicchitano and Anthony and Esther Scicchitano.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 in St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant; where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
