Ampara R. Taliani

Ampara R. Taliani, 95, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2015 in the Rome Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on May 30, 1920 in Witherbee, NY, the daughter of Salvador and Catalina Serrano Seoane. On February 22, 1941 in St. John the Baptist Church she married Arthur "Butch" Taliani who passed away on August 8, 1989.

She had been employed by the Revere Rome Manufacturing Co. and then as a retail sales clerk for many drug store chains.

Ampara is survived by her beloved family, a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Richard Stratton of Rome; cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy and Brian Jensen of NC, Kelly and Clint Creekmore of Rome, Jayme Stratton and her fiancée Derrek Brown of Boston, MA; her great-grandchildren, Anna Jensen, Nathan and Eric Creekmore; a sister-in-law, Dolores Taliani of Rome and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours.
