Brian Crawford

Brian (Crewf) Crawford, 44, of Rome, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, August 30, 2015.

He was born in Rome on November 27, 1970, the son of Ronald Crawford and Sherry Riedel Butts. He attended Rome Schools. On September 16, 1995 he was united in marriage to Catherine Skea.

Brian was employed in Inventory Control at Sturges Manufacturing Inc.of Utica. He had also worked as a Chef at Coalyard Charlies and 257 Steakhouse and then worked in landscaping. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed snowboarding, but most of all he loved playing X-Box online with his friends.

Brian is survived by his wife and best friend Catherine Crawford and his daughter Karlie; stepson Anthony Corigliano of Oneida; stepdaughter LeeAnne Corigliano and granddaughter Nollie Day of California; mother and stepfather Sherry and Richard Butts; father Ronald Crawford; maternal grandparents Evelyn and Raymond Riedel; father-in-law Jack Skea; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Vicki and James Gillen Jr., Melissa Karrat, Jodi Skea; brother in law and sister in-law David and Lisa Skea and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
