William Joseph Armstrong

William Joseph Armstrong, 53, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home, Colonial Nursing and Rehab\ Center.

He was born in Rome on September 11, 1961, a son of Robert and Phyllis Hendrickson Armstrong. He was a diesel mechanic for many years and loved to work on cars.

Bill is survived by his beloved family, his father Robert; a daughter and son Stephanie and Danny; his sisters, Brenda (Jim) Masucci of Rome, Sandra Toro of TN and Ruby (Robert) Walker of Camden; a brother Art (B.J.) Bentley of Rome; many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Phyllis Armstrong, step-mother Joyce Armstrong and a sister Darlene Spink.

Bill's family wishes to thank all of the residents, aides, nurses and doctors for all of their loving care and support during his life at Colonial Nursing and Rehab Center, 950 Floyd Ave. in Rome.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
