Melanie Beth Damon

Melanie Beth Damon, of Rome, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, with her husband at her side, at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility in Rome. She was 58 years of age. Born in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late John and Elza Kovarik.

Survivors include her husband Robert Damon; her sisters Jody (Joseph) Dunbar and Cynthia (Ronald) Goodden; her step children Brian, Maureen, and Christopher Damon; four step grandchildren; plus many loving nieces and nephews.

Melanie was a 1974 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. She worked for Espey Manufacturing, Saratoga Hospital, and the Stewart Shops headquarters in Saratoga Springs. Melanie enjoyed cooking, antiquing, reading, and solving crossword puzzles. She was a devoted wife, daughter, and sister.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 West Embargo St.. Services will be private.
