Rose M. Case, 83, of Rome passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at home. She was born on July 6, 1929 the daughter of Arthur and Esther Collins Sable. She married Floyd Case who passed away in 1995. She was a graduate from Camden Central School. She was retired as a therapy aide for DDSO. She was an avid Bingo player. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Sylvan Beach and American Legion Auxiliary of Sylvan Beach and also a member of St. Peter’s Church of Rome. Rose is survived by her beloved family; a daughter and son-in-law, Karol and Michael Spadafora, Sr. of Rome, three sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Sheryl Campbell, Paul and Jolie Case and Darryl and Anna Case, cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Nikki Spadafora-Avery and Todd Avery, Michael Jr. and Vanessa Spadafora, Dustin Campbell, Jessica Chapman, Rachel Campbell, Paulie Case and Katie Joy Case, a great grandson Stryder Chapman, two sisters, Emma Jecko and Mildred Trexler, a brother and sister-in-law Arthur and Shirley Sable, many nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion Bennie. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Hobart. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10:30 in St. Peter’s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Philip Hearn as celebrant; where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in North Bay Cemetery. In accordance with Rose’s wishes, there will be no calling hours; Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
