Secor, Louise Uvanni

Louise M. Secor, 80, of Rome and Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in The Pines Center, Utica. She was born on September 8, 1932 in Rome, the daughter of James and Rose Carro Uvanni. On September 9, 1950, she married LaVerne Secor, a blessed union of 46 years. LaVerne passed away in 1997. Louise was a bookkeeper for several years at St. Ambrose Church, Deerfield Beach, Fl. Being a 30 year cancer survivor, she had a very strong faith and was an active member of the Catholic Church. Louise is survived by a son Dennis Secor, two granddaughters, Cheryl and her spouse Curtis Corr, and Lori Lawless, four great grandchildren, Michael and Madison Corr and Jack and Katie Lawless. Louise is also survived by six nephews, James M., Michael J., Paul J., Gary W., Phil, and Mark Uvanni and a niece Lisa Gordon. She was predeceased by three brothers, Michael, James, and Alfonso Uvanni and a niece Roseann Uvanni. Memorial services will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Deerfield, FL Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, N. Lauderdale, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
