Verdgeline, Gilda

Gilda Bottini Verdgeline, 67, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Hospice Siegenthaler Center. She was born on November 19, 1945 in Rome a daughter of Anthony and Rose Mulga Bottini. She graduated from RFA 1963. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Gilda is survived by her beloved children; a daughter and son-in-law Denise and Mike Vanderhoof of Rome, sons Robert Verdgeline Jr. of Rome, and Louis Verdgeline and his fiancée Angel Rondinelli of Rome, cherished grandchildren; Michael Vanderhoof, Marcus Vanderhoof, Sabrina Verdgeline and Marissa Verdgeline, two sisters, Virginia Miller of Rome and Lucille Bostwick of Rome, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Grace Bottini of Rome, sisters-in-law, Judy Bottini of Whitesboro and Kathy Bottini of Rome, many nieces, nephews and cousins She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony “Buzz” Bottini and Benard Bottini. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Graziano and staff, Dr. Schicker and staff and Hospice Siengenthaler Center for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral services will be held Friday May 3rd at 12:30 at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W.
